Join a privately held property investment group with a diverse portfolio spanning office, industrial, and development assets. We are seeking an experienced Senior Accountant with a property or funds background to lead and business partner on both the corporate entities, and several the real estate funds.
This is a hands-on role focused on financial reporting, debt management, portfolio analysis, and strategic planning. Reporting to the GM Finance, you will gain exposure to all aspects of the business and work within a high performing small finance team to support all aspects of financial performance.
Key Responsibilities:
- Act as a trusted business partner with executive team, asset management, development and transactions teams on all aspects of financial performance
- Assist with acquisition and divestment of real estate assets from a financial reporting and analysis perspective
- Prepare quarterly financial reporting packs including key reconciliations, variance analysis and strategic planning
- Manage budgeting, forecasting, and performance analysis
- Manage cash flow, working capital, and optimize investment returns
- Prepare and monitor financial and debt metrics across the portfolio including external compliance reporting
- Manage audits and ensure ongoing compliance with regulatory standards
- Prepare and/or review tax returns, including BAS, FBT, Payroll Tax and annual compliance matters
- Prepare monthly payroll
- Other ad hoc duties to support the business as required
What We’re Looking For:
- Proven experience in finance within the real estate sector
- Experience with debt management including knowledge of facility agreement mechanics and compliance reporting
- Strong technical expertise in financial reporting and analysis
- Business Central, MRI and Continia experience highly regarded
